CSAFR-CLE (Centering Survivors and Families Research Collaborative - Cleveland) is a community based action-oriented research collaborative. Our mission is to drive research about firearm harm and injury that promotes community engagement and centers survivors, families,and communities.We strive to:
1) Develop community driven interventions and objectives to decrease firearm related harms and promote healing
2) Build infrastructure to sustain relationships across organizations that center survivors and families impacted by gun violence
3) Share our work through workshops and presentations that add value to existing community based work and advocate for a safe and thriving community

The Centering Survivors and Families Project Community Quotebook
We interviewed 21 survivors and family members about their experiences and what they needed after an injury or death.This quotebook is a tool and resource containing the words of people in Northeast Ohio who have had their lives tragically changed by gun violence.Please review the data sharing agreement before downloading. It's not required but it shares information on how we hope the quotebook is used.

Our team is working with system dynamics experts at Case Western Reserve University to build a model that can represent the complexity of gun violence and help us to tell our story and advocate for change.
